1. Who we are
Fadesis an online retailer of Counter-Strike 2 (“CS2”) in-game cosmetic items (“skins”). We are an independent business. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Valve Corporation, Steam, or any game publisher. All game content, names, and images are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification only.
2. What we sell, and what you receive
We sell a licence to use specific digital cosmetic items within CS2, delivered to your Steam inventory. You are buying a defined item at a fixed, displayed price. There is no element of chance, no randomised outcome, no loot box, and no wager. What you see on the product page is what is delivered to your account.
Skins have no monetary value granted by us and are usable only within Steam, subject to Valve’s terms. We do not represent that any item will hold, gain, or retain value.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement. You must not be located in, or a resident of, any country subject to comprehensive sanctions, and you must not appear on any applicable sanctions or prohibited-persons list. 4. Your Steam account and trade URL
You sign in through Steam. We use Steam’s authentication to confirm you control the account, and we deliver items to the trade URL you provide. You are responsible for the accuracy of your trade URL and for the security and eligibility of your Steam account. Your account must be able to receive trades — items cannot be delivered to an account with a trade ban, VAC ban, or an active Steam trade restriction, and we check for these before you buy.
5. Pricing and payment
All prices are shown in US dollars and are inclusive of any taxes we are required to charge. The price you confirm at checkout is the price you pay. Prices move with the market; a price you were shown earlier is not held unless a checkout quote lock is active and shown to you.
Payments are processed by our payment provider, Coinflow. We do not receive, store, or process your full card details — these are handled directly by the provider under its own PCI-DSS compliant systems. Your purchase is also subject to the provider’s terms.
6. Delivery
We deliver each item to your Steam account as a trade offer. An order is “delivered” when the trade offer for it has been accepted on your account. Delivery is typically immediate but can take longer during Steam maintenance or congestion. Our full Delivery Policy explains timing, proof of delivery, and what happens if delivery fails.
7. Store credit
You may hold a balance of store credit. Store credit can be used only to buy items on Fades. It is not money, not e-money, not a deposit, and cannot be withdrawn, transferred, or exchanged for cash. It has value solely as a means of purchasing skins from us. Any credit issued as a refund follows the same rule.
8. Refunds and cancellation
Because items are digital content delivered immediately, specific rules apply to cancellation and refunds. These are set out in full in our Refunds & Cancellations Policy, which forms part of these terms. In short: if an item is delivered, the sale is final; if delivery fails or an item is not as described, you are fully refunded.
9. Risks you accept
You acknowledge and accept that:
- Skin prices are volatile and can fall as well as rise.
- Steam imposes its own trade holds and restrictions that we do not control and cannot waive.
- Valve may change, restrict, or remove items or trading at any time, and we are not liable for such changes.
- Skins bought from us are for personal use within Steam and are not an investment.
10. Prohibited conduct
You must not use Fades to commit fraud, launder funds, evade sanctions, or resell items through us for cash. You must not use bots, scrapers, or automated means to abuse the service, and you must not use a payment method you are not authorised to use. The full list is in our Acceptable Use Policy. We may refuse, cancel, or reverse any order, and suspend any account, where we reasonably suspect a breach.
11. Intellectual property
The Fades name, site design, and original content are ours. Game names, item names, and images belong to their respective owners and appear for identification of the goods only.
12. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Subject to that, our total liability arising from any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from Steam or Valve actions outside our control.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. If you have a problem, contact us first at support@fades.gg — we aim to resolve complaints quickly and fairly. Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
